Adesh Institute of Engineering & Technology is approved by AICTE, NEW DELHI and affiliated with PUNJAB TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, JALANDHAR. The institution was established in 1996 on 60 acres of land, located at Sadiq Road, Faridkot.
Adesh Institute of Engineering & Technology ( AIET) conceived by the Adesh Foundation has emerged as one of the best engineering colleges in the state of Punjab. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Govt. of Punjab. Affiliation has been granted by Punjab Technical University, Jallandhar. Admissions are made centrally through Punjab Technical University, Jallandhar based on merit in the COMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET) for entrance in engineering colleges in Punjab. The institute is developed in a vast green campus area of around 60 acres of land having own water works & uninterrupted independent power feeder for 24 hrs. supply. The computer centre is the largest in the state of Punjab and well equipped with 150 computer terminals with latest configurations in an area of 7,000 sq. ft. The central library is developed in a 7,500 sq. ft. area with all kind of books & technical national & international journals. Ultra modern state-of-art lecture theatres with latest teaching aids, laboratories and workshops have been developed as per norms of AICTE. Separate hostel complexes for boys’ & girls’ with all modern amenities, faculty residences, principals’ residences are within the campus. Facilities for indoor games, out door sports complexes and Open Air Theatre are unique. ATM facility has been installed in the campus. Multi Gym, Cricket, Hockey, Football, Volleyball & Basketball grounds are developed in the campus. The auditorium with a capacity of 900 seats and a hi-tech swimming pool are in process of development. A communication and presentation lab. for improvement of personalities of students is functioning to empower them with superior communication skills and to furnish with a plethora of judicious decision-making. What is most important is the faculties drawn from top institutions of country are continuously striving to impart experience-based quality education and a placement cell to support students in getting national and international employments and higher technical education.

10% Seats in each Engineering course are available under Tution Fee Waiver Scheme for women, economically backward and physically handicapped meritorious students.

- 8 students in 2007 figured in the PTU merit lists.
- Institute is running Training & Placement Cell effectively. Many of our students have secured jobs in reputed companies; TCS, Excel Service Noida, Sterling, Telecom Madras Infosys, IBM, DELL, Hewitt Associates and Army & Air force, Wipro, Airtel, HFCL, BSNL, TAta Indicom, etc.
- Winners of University championship in Badminton, runners up in Body Building, third in Hockey in 2006. Our hockey team was winner in 2005 and cricket team was in winner in 2004.
- Our students won gold medals in PTU inter college youth festival 2006-07, in mime and silver medals in skit, mimicry and bhangra in PTU-ZONE-I.
